Washington D.C. post-hardcore band Tosser have just released their sophomore LP titled "Sheer Humanity". The record was written and recorded by Eric Zidar (vocals/guitar), Ryan Plummer (bass), and Jonas Farah (drums) and contains 9 songs combining 90s D.C. inspired angular post-hardcore, post-punk and heavy guitar driven indie rock. The album was recorded in 2023 in Philadelphia and Washington DC. With no breaks across the 9 tracks, the intent was to create a record that feels like a live set and one cohesive piece. The band states they tried to avoid typical song structures and piece together the songs in interesting ways. This resulted in 9 songs that are guitar centric, heavy and punchy, with interesting rhythmic structure and hooks to go along with it. The record is being released independently with vinyl distribution help from Dischord Records.
