The Temper Trap, a London-based rock band whose ambitious and cathartic songs have started to garner them international praise and devoted fans around the globe are revving up for their anticipated Fall US release. Their talents are apparent when you hear the soaring melodies, the hard hitting percussion and the expertly crafted songwriting, but subtly within, there lies a magic that has captivated audiences. On their debut, entitled Conditions, the 4-piece sound larger than the sum of their parts and have won legions of fans with their energetic and crowd elevating live shows.

Glen Rock, New Jersey is a small, safe suburban enclave to the west of New York City, supporting almost three square miles and a population of just under 12,000 people. “It’s the kind of town that lots of people claim doesn’t exist anymore – like that movie Pleasantville, postcard-like streets, an actual “Main Street”, lots of support for high school football,” recounts 23-year-old Patrick Stickles, lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the band Titus Andronicus.

Some bands stay in a holding pattern their whole careers. Others jerk the steering wheel hard and fly off the road. On their second album, Vampire Weekend do neither. Or maybe they do both. “I think we sound more like Vampire Weekend than we did on the first record,” says drummer Christopher Tomson.

Brand New is an American alternative rock band from Long Island, New York. Formed in 2000, the band currently consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jesse Lacey, guitarist Vincent Accardi, bassist Garrett Tierney, drummer Brian Lane, and guitarist/keyboardist Derrick Sherman.
