Hopeless and Sub City Reach Milestone
Congratulations to Hopeless & Sub City Records for raising over $2 million for 50-plus charities. The company raises funds by giving 5% — 2.5% from artist royalties and 2.5% from the label — of the revenue collected from the suggested list price of albums released on Sub City. Artists that choose to issue albums on that label choose which charity they want to support. The company also holds the annual “Take Action” tour, where 10% of the ticket price is given to charities.
